2019 Pacific Symposium on Pulsed Power and Applications

Welcome to the 2019 Pacific Symposium on Pulsed Power and Applications! Hawaii serves as a convenient location between the US and Asian main lands, and is intended to provide more intimate opportunities for social and technical interaction than similar Plasma and Pulsed Power Conferences between the American, Japanese, Chinese and Korean communities.

We look forward to your attendance for a valuable technical experience and an enjoyable visit to the beautiful Poipu Beach in Koloa, Hawaii, located on the Kauai island.

Abstract submission will be accepted between February 1, 2019 and May 15, 2019.

Abstracts will be reviewed by the Advisory Committee and authors will be notified of acceptance by May 31, 2019.

Refund Policy

Email requests received by July, 1, 2019 will be honored. Refund requests received after this date will be processed only if the event is cancelled. We have arranged for a small number of hotel rooms at a group discount rate:

Run of Deluxe Ocean - $399 - $141 discount = $258 plus taxes
Run of Garden View - $339 - $97 discount = $242 plus taxes

Room discount will be applied at check out. The room rates listed above are subject to a $30.00 per day resort charge plus tax, currently 4.712%. Resort charge includes one bottle of water replenished daily, self parking for one vehicle, valet parking for arrival night and $10.00 plus tax per additional night thereafter, internet, local, toll free and credit card calls, fitness center, and cultural arts and crafts. Inclusions are subject to change without notice.
